Source-linked specifications for the ALPS Mountaineering Tasmanian 2 (2021 catalog specification) — 2 person / 2021 catalog specification. This is a detailed tents record, checked on 2026-10-30; price and live stock are not verified.
What the specs mean
The maker lists a 2-person capacity. That is a nominal count, not a promise that 2 full-width pads fit. Compare both the narrowest and widest floor widths, door access, and the pad outline before relying on a fit estimate. A missing minimum width is a reason to measure in person. Listed minimum weight is 7.50 lb (3,402 g); packaged weight is 8.50 lb (3,856 g). Use the packed figure for a full carry estimate.

Verification limits
Evidence basis: manufacturer_declared. US market: confirmed. Listing status: unknown. These labels do not establish current stock.
Unverified fields: floor_width_min_in
- Historical 2021 manufacturer catalog specification. Same SKU is still listed in 2026, but updated current retailer weight/packing data differ. Do not present this historical table as current-version measurements. Floor diagram is tapered at both ends; maximum width is not constant usable sleeping width.
- Year stored as catalog_edition_year; catalogue publication does not establish a product launch year.
